What is vector art?
In order to make a product with your custom design on it, we will require digital vector art. Vector art is a type of digital artwork created using vector graphics software. Unlike raster images, which are made up of pixels, vector art is composed of paths defined by mathematical equations. Here are some key features:
-
Scalability: Vector art can be resized infinitely without losing quality, making it ideal for logos, icons, and other designs that need to be used at various sizes.
-
Editability: Each element in vector art can be individually edited, allowing for precise adjustments and modifications.
***IF YOU DO NOT HAVE VECTOR ART- WE CAN COVERT YOUR IMAGE BUT THIS WILL INCUR AN ART CHARGE OF $35.00 OR MORE IF LOGO HAS TO BE COMPLETELY REDRAWN.
HERE IS HOW TO CHECK IF YOU HAVE VECTOR ART:
-
File Formats:
-
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics): An open standard format widely used for web graphics. It supports interactivity and animation.
-
AI (Adobe Illustrator): A proprietary format used by Adobe Illustrator, commonly used in professional graphic design.
-
EPS (Encapsulated PostScript): A versatile format that can be used with various graphic design programs. It is often used for printing and publishing.
-
PDF (Portable Document Format): While primarily known for documents, PDFs can also contain vector graphics, making them useful for sharing and printing.
-
DXF (Drawing Exchange Format): Developed by Autodesk, this format is commonly used for CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications.
-
WMF (Windows Metafile): A format used primarily in Windows applications, supporting both vector and raster graphics.
